Their resident stat man will be on the airwaves today to discuss life at ESPN, how he accumulated his sports knowledge and about creating his niche in Bristol. I'm not sure I put enough exclamation marks down. CC Sabathia is going to be a Yankee, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post. They'll need to dot the i's and cross the t's but if Sherman's correct, the long national nightmare is over. And to Mike Francesa, who was adamant on Monday about how CC was playing the Yankees and didn't want to come; I'm deeply ashamed to call you a fellow Yankees fan. I listened to you yesterday (today, who knows?, it's 5 in the morning) and was flabbergasted. You, sir, are an idiot. Let's see you backtrack later today. Happy days are here again. Now go get Sheets!
